should i work to be an accountant or an electrician because that seems easier? im in high school btw.?
from what i hear electrictians are making a lot of dough. but i haven't taken any courses on that yet. which im sure i can take at a local community college later. im in the academy of finance for school though meaning my path is toward accounting.
help me out!
well, where would you be happier?
accountants do not have to deal with traveling to job sites usually, and all the ones i have seen have nice offices with comfy chairs.
but money is very important to some people and you are RESPONSIBLE for that money
I would personally go for electrician, but thats cause I like working with my hands. You would get to work on something different everyday, and skilled trades are in high demand
but, you may have to work in some crappy weather, crawl into dirty basements…and so on
so what would you rather do?

One thing to consider is how active you want to be. As an accountant you will spend 80-90% of your time sitting behind a desk. As an electrician you would be much more physically involved, outdoors some of the time, carrying equipment, moving around from job to job, etc. You could probably make a lot of money at either one - try to figure out which you would actually enjoy more.

I think with electrician all you need is a AA degree which you can get at Jr college

well keith, here's the deal. you first need to figure out what you mean by electrician. there are many kind. i am aircraft electrician. i love my job. but one thing i am noticing after three years is that sometimes I would like to go back to school for accounting so i could get my cpa license. I already have my journeyman aircraft electrician card so its allways there to fall back on. but once i get my cpa i can do independant accouting (as opposed to corporate) for the rest of my life and never have to work for any one ever again. hell i could work a couple days a week or an on call electrician and still have my accounting cliants. so my answer is. do both, and do it right.
