if you listen long enough , he will kick the stool out from under you - and if you are unaware of the anquish and the lesson and the ulterior motives of this man- you will wish you will surely wish you had other options.

I have heard other versions of this song and now I only listen to Jeff Buckley’s version. I feel as if the other people who have covered this thought, hey this song sounds pretty so I’m gonna try to sing it. And so they do this song, focusing on their “pretty” voice rather than what the song is portraying.. I feel like Jeff does a far better job at capturing the emotions attached to this song than any other I’ve heard….

I’m sorry, I’m going to a lot of people off, but, the coarse poet penned this song specifically yet unknowingly, to slip from the lips of an angel, Jeff Buckley. Incredible beyond my meager words.

Well it was the …
Well it was the Rolling Stones Chart. And it was oddly made. He was number 39. And number one was Aretha Franklin. It was pretty strange. There were a lot of people who shouldn’t have been on it and a couple who should have. For instance Billy Joel. Oh well. But um they had some real famous people who definitely beat out Buckley, so I though his placing was okay.
